As people’s awareness in health increases, studies of public health gain their popularity. Public health focuses to improve people’s life qualities, prevent and treat diseases by collecting data from cases, and monitoring health indicators. During the process of data collection and its' analysis, mathematics is heavily involved. Bayes’ Theorem, which links current probability to previous probabilities, is very useful in the prediction of future events.
